Aligners are an effective solution for various types of dental misalignments. They are suitable for both adults and teenagers. However, there are specific cases where traditional braces or other treatment methods may be more advisable. The duration of treatment with aligners varies depending on the complexity of dental misalignment. On average, treatment lasts between 3 and 9 months. A more precise assessment can be provided after the intraoral scan and treatment planning.

We recommend removing aligners for eating and drinking to avoid damage or discoloration. Taking out the aligners also has the advantage of facilitating easier cleaning of both the aligners and your teeth. In daily life, however, aligners are so comfortable that they can be worn almost unnoticed.

The cost for the initial consultation is 280 Euro and includes two appointments:

• First Appointment: This involves a detailed consultation. We take X-rays, perform a digital intraoral scan, and capture a photographic status. Together, we discuss your concerns, preferences, and treatment goals.
  
• Second Appointment: We discuss your individual treatment plan and the costs associated with the aligner treatment. Using 3D simulation, you can track the gradual changes to your teeth from every perspective.

The costs of an aligner therapy are individual and depend on your specific treatment plan and the complexity of your dental alignment. Before starting the treatment, we create a detailed therapy plan that carefully considers all necessary steps of your treatment. Prices for our treatments start at 3,500 Euro.

We recommend using the aligners for approximately 23 hours daily. You should wear them continuously, both during the day and at night, only removing the aligners for eating, drinking, and oral hygiene purposes.

Attachments are small, tooth-colored retention elements that are bonded to your teeth and later removed. In some cases of dental misalignments, attachments are crucial to ensure effective force transmission and to move your teeth into the desired position.

Some social insurance providers (health insurers) cover the costs of aligner treatment. Whether and to what extent the costs are covered depend on the provider, your age, and the degree of misalignment. Private insurance providers typically reimburse the costs partially or even entirely if the service is included in your insurance plan.

After completing the treatment, we assess the success of the treatment and, if necessary, remove the attachments. To ensure that you maintain your beautiful and healthy smile in the long term and prevent your teeth from shifting back to their original position, we recommend supporting your teeth with appropriate retention. This can be achieved either with a fixed retainer or a special retention tray.

No, a new appointment is not strictly required for each aligner. Typically, you receive multiple aligners in advance, and you switch them according to a predetermined schedule.
